Bruce was born in Florida on the gulf coast. He traveled through the central west USA during his 20's and lived the life of music,
studies, electronics, technical and a bit a Zen. Always a composer, artist and designer at heart he still liked to be active in a wide variety of sports.
Bruce met his beautiful wife Stephanie at dance convention and now his time is spent working as an Engineering Contractor during the day and a Dancer/DJ/Music Producer at night and weekends.
He has always performed in front of people in some way and his love of teaching is originates from his desire to help others grow and share in human experience of living your dreams.
I have a consultant firm called Codewise Design.
My Bachelors Degree is in Electrical Enginnering with minor studies in Philosphy and
Physics. I have many technical certificates covering everything from telecommunications to software related. One of my specialty
areas is creating prototypes and research related to new products. In recent years I've spent a lot of time with computer virtualization
and have contacted to Microsoft on and off for about 15 years.
I am an extremely active dancer. West Coast Swing and Night Club
2 Step dances are my specialty which I compete and judge in. I also enjoy Agentine Tango
on a creative level. I travel nationally to dance conventions and am a very active social dancer and
dance competitor. I teach both private and weekly group lessons.
I have been playing music since I was 8. A few times in my life I
stopped playing actively to pursue other skills but always returned to play and
produce music in some form. I play guitar, drums, keyboards, bass and am a
vocalist as well. My main instrument for composing music is usually my guitar.
I also compose, perform, engineer and produce my own music.
Even though I have been playing for years it remains mostly a hobby.
My music has covered a wide range of different styles though the years and so I consider myself
a music composer at the core.
I have a thoughtful philosophical side and try to
have a balanced approach to life but as you know none of that cames easy.
One thing I have learned is that I have a pervasive comic sense of relief that gives me
relief from the drama that sometimes plays out around me. I embrace sharing
moments with other people.
I'm very proactive at changing myself; fine tunning you know. In order
to change we must conciously be involved with it. It's all about knowing what you don't know. Rather socratic actually.
Also, if you want good things to happen in life, you have to leave enough space for them to happen.
I have an unpublished book I have worked on for years
off and on. Its a Epic Fantasy. I have also written many many poems which made
ultimately made their way into lyrics to some of my songs. A few of my poems have been published.
We need expectations and dreams to
grow and survive but we need to temper them with thoughful release; do not burden
others unnecessarily with undue expectations. You have to experience the emotion to come to terms with it but you
also have to let it go to move on to new experiences.
